Betty Muyres, a San Antonio professional tour guide, will be sharing a story from her colorful childhood, growing up in and around the San Antonio hill country area.

"I heard the story from my neighbor Laura Davis. Her maiden name was Mornatah. She was the youngest child of the Mornatah family whose historic house is just south of where I live (in North Helotes). And she told me this story when she was in her mid 80s. While she was too young to remember this incident, she does recall her mother telling her they would have to stay in the house for a couple of days when they realized the buffalo herds were coming through the area in their winter migration to the gulf coast where grass was abundant ..."
